My ANA Business Class Tokyo to Washington flight was a spectacular experience in delectable food and Japanese hospitality. Its non frequently that I run into cabin crew that are interested in sharing the cultural nuances of a traditional meal, all while ensuring my rubber and comfort. The ANA crew on this flying elevated my experience from great to wow!

ANA BUSINESS CLASS – BOARDING AND SEATS

Subsequently a quick bite and a shower in the chichi ANA lounge in Tokyo Narita (NRT), I headed to gate 54 for my flying to Washington DC (IAD). Priority boarding was announced shortly and we were on our way!

This was my first flight on the ANA 777-300 and I did not know what to wait in terms of cabin quality. The cabin on first glance did expect a trivial dated, particularly since I had just completed a segment in the ANA Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner from Bangkok to Narita. The seats on the 777-300 all the same, were well maintained and offered an excellent hard production.

Business organisation course cabin on the flight was full and I was not able to secure a 'window seat'. The seats offered direct aisle access but made window views a tad difficult. The storage infinite and stretch room was incredible though. A pillow, mattress, blanket, headphones and slippers were already placed on the seat.

Soon after I had settled into my seat, a coiffure member came to welcome me and asked for my welcome drink preference. I opted for a local white wine and was a scrap surprised to see it being served in a plastic loving cup.

It does seem tacky just I love the ANA ground crew that make an attempt to wave goodbye to each of their flights – a classy bear on!

Food and Motel Service

Shortly after take-off, the crew came by with the start moving ridge of food and beverage service. I say wave considering the showtime 2 hours of the flying was pure gluttony!

The menu included a pre-set multiple course choice of International cuisine and traditional Japanese cuisine (Washoku). The crew was polite to ask if I had ever tried a Washoku and mentioned that it was their recommended course that doubles as a cultural experience. I was was already impressed with the crew'due south initiative and wanted to experience a Washoku, on an ANA flight nonetheless  ðŸ™‚

Stuffed and content, I was ready to stretch out with a moving picture and hopefully catch some sleep. The ANA seat mattress offered the right amount of bedding to sink into.

The 2d meal of the flight had a defended breakfast menu and included a Washoku and an international cuisine. Unfortunately, I was notwithstanding stuffed from the first circular of gluttony and had to skip the repast.

ANA business class too offered a 'Light Dishes Anytime' menu which was handy. Since I had skipped the 2nd repast, I ordered a Japanese Pizza a couple of hours before landing.

Shortly subsequently the final meal and a drink for the road, we landed at IAD. While the service and my ANA business class feel was impeccable, my feel at IAD was less than impressive – TSA bankrupt into my luggage and damaged information technology!

Take Away

This was my first time flying the ~12.v hour flight on ANA business organisation class Tokyo to Washington, and I was impressed with ANA'south efficiency and stellar crew at mitt. If yous oasis't had a gamble to experience ANA's business class cabin, I would definitely recommend information technology. Groovy value when booking with Aeroplan at 75K miles.
